Founder, Principal Architect
Shilpa Kalaichelvan founded ANGAI COLLECTIVE as an initiative to celebrate a collaborative blend of art and architecture in 2017.
Having pursued her Masters in Interior Design from the renowned Pratt Institute, New York, Shilpa has gained substantial exposure through detailed research and professional experience. She spent the first few years of her career designing and managing Residential and Hospitality projects in prominent firms in Chennai and Bangalore. She is a registered Architect and has completed her Bachelors in Architecture from National Institute of Technology, Trichy. Her passion for creativity, overall design process, the love for hand-made details and the fine arts primarily inspired her to establish the studio.
